PSG’s unprofessional behaviour, not a single Mbappé will stay at the club? Kylian’s brother Ethan backed into a corner, retaliates for older sibling’s actions, mother angry

Kylian Mbappé is apparently on his way out of PSG and he probably won’t be alone. His 17-year-old brother Ethan might not even stay at the club anymore, who is not only paying for his sibling’s actions, but also for the not-so-adequate behaviour from the French outfit.

Having a sibling can sometimes be a double-edged weapon. At least that’s how only 17-year-old Ethan Mbappé, the younger brother of star Kylian, may now feel. The reason is simple. For the younger of the siblings has learned both the positives and negatives of having your sibling at the same club and being more famous.

After all, Kylian Mbappé is one of the best footballers in the world. He didn’t know until recently where he would play next season. His continuation at PSG was still in play. But now it is different. Apparently, he decided to leave the club for free in the summer and Ethan is being treated accordingly.

In the first half of the season, the 17-year-old brother was involved in training with the A-team. He even made his professional debut against the Mets at the end of 2023. In January, he was still a substitute against US Revel or US Orléans. He was even nominated for the first match against Real Sociedad in the Champions League.

However, it was after that that the decision was made for Kylian to leave PSG and since then everything has gone downhill. Even the more famous of the brothers is no longer guaranteed to play the full 90 minutes of every game. And Ethan is even worse off. He hasn’t even been nominated for a game since.

Neither Mbappé will stay at PSG after all?

Ethan is not Kylian. He’s taking baby steps. According to the French media, he wants to stay at PSG. According to L’Équipe, he was not even far from signing a new contract. But now it’s completely different.

“Relations between Mbappé and the club have cooled considerably. There is quite a lot of tension. Particularly with the mother of both players, who accuses PSG of wanting to damage Kylian’s reputation. It is certain that this will play a role in the decisions that concern Ethan,” L’Équipe quotes his sources from the club.

the 17-year-old talent is thus in a difficult situation. As long as PSG wanted Kylian to be happy and calm at the club, they gave him space. Now Kylian is no longer important to the club and Ethan is being treated accordingly.

At such a young age, Ethan can’t stomp his feet. Plus, apparently, his sportsmanship is starting to be questioned. After all, at 17, he simply doesn’t have the status of a footballer who is indispensable enough to the club to have to play often.

It is therefore highly unprofessional behaviour on PSG’s part, if that is the intention. Thus, there is currently speculation that not only Kylian might leave Paris, but also Ethan, who according to French journalists has interesting potential and is making great strides.
