David Pastrnak contributed two points to Boston’s win over the Senators, but the game was decided in overtime by Brad Marchand. Nikita Kucherov scored another three points in the win against Arizona, leapfrogging Nathan MacKinnon in NHL scoring.

Pastrnak has two more points

The game between Ottawa and Boston was decided in overtime by Bruins captain Brad Marchand. He has been in great form in recent games. However, David Pastrnak also played a significant role in the victory.

He scored his 31st goal of the season and is now fourth in the scorers’ standings. He is one goal behind Russia’s Kucherov, four goals behind Florida’s Sam Reinhart and Auston Matthews is tied for third with 39 goals.

Pastrnak also had an assist on Trent Frederic’s second Bruins goal, which improved his point total to 69 points this season and is the third most productive player in the NHL.

He is only two players ahead of him in their own league this season. Specifically, he is 14 points behind Kucherov and 13 points behind second-ranked Nathan MacKinnon.

Pastrnak shined, but Marchand decided the game

Parsnip was voted the second biggest star of the game after goalie Jeremy Swayman, who had thirty-five saves.

The Bruins captain Brad Marchand has been playing in really good form lately and he decided the game against Ottawa. In addition, he scored his 396th goal in the regular season for the Boston team, moving him to 5th place in the club’s historical statistics ahead of Ray Borque.

The Kucherov-MacKinnon race continues

In the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Arizona Coyotes (6: 3), Kucherov scored more than two points in the game again. This time he registered one goal and two assists.

The great race between the Russian player and the Canadian MacKinnon continues. With every game played, they jump over each other in the NHL scoring lead and build a considerable lead over the rest of the players in the entire famous overseas competition.

On the other hand, the Arizona team scored six goals again for the second time in a very short time. First, Karel Vejmelka fished six pucks out of his net. In the duel with Tampa Bay, the otherwise excellent catcher Connor Ingram also scored six goals.

Stamkos has his 1,100th NHL point

Kucherov has been playing in great form, scoring at least three points in a game five times in the last nine games.

However, Tampa Bay captain Steven Stamkos had a big milestone in the game against Arizona. He scored a goal and an assist and became the 66th player in NHL history to surpass the 1,100-point mark in the regular season.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft reached the milestone in his 1049th game played. He has now totaled 1,101 points on 535 goals scored and 566 assists. He is also the sixth active hockey player to break that mark. Only Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeni Malkin, Patrick Kane and Anže Kopitar have done it before him.
