David Pastrnak named NHL’s second biggest star of the week, Kirill Kaprizov and Logan Thompson among the honorees

Kirill Kaprizov was the week’s biggest star for the second time this season

Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov was the most productive player in the competition after scoring 8 points on 5 goals and 3 assists in 4 games. His performance contributed to 3 wins in 4 games.

Kaprizov managed to score in all 4 games. He started the week by recording a game-winning goal against the NY Islanders, where he celebrated Marc Andre- Fleury’s 552nd career game-winning goal, moving him into second place ahead of Patrick Roy.

The Russian forward capped off the week with a game-winning goal against Florida, scoring his third career hat trick. He became only the fourth player in franchise history to have at least three hat tricks. Marian Gaborik holds the record with nine three-goal games for the Wild.

David Pastrnak second biggest star of the week

David Pastrnak played in three games during the reporting period. He scored a total of 7 points on 5 goals and 2 assists. The third man of productivity and the third best scorer of the year. He also recorded a hat trick against Colorado this week.

However, it was the 16th hat trick of his overseas career. And after Alexander Ovechkin, he is the second best active hat trick scorer and now the best Czech player in NHL history after taking the lead ahead of Jaromir Jagr.

Thanks to his scoring appetite, the Boston Bruins lead the entire Eastern Conference with a five-point lead over the NY Rangers. Of course, with great performances in the current season, he will be defending the Bruins colors in the upcoming All-Star Weekend.

Third star of the week Vegas goalie Thompson

Logan Thompson of the Vegas Golden Knights started three games and picked up wins in all of them. He averaged 1.34 goals per game and had a 95.6 percent shot success rate. He appeared in 29 games for the defending Stanley Cup champions this season, 16 of which resulted in a walk-off win.
