Video: Ronaldo scores his 100th Premier League goal and makes history! But Manchester United seem to have closed the door on the Champions League

Manchester United failed to beat Arsenal on Saturday and probably closed the door to the upcoming Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo, however, shone with a goal that made football history.
The Red Devils were unable to make amends for the North-West Derby debacle on Saturday, when they lost 0-4 to Liverpool at Anfield. They were now beaten 3-1 at home by Arsenal.
Manchester United will probably not be seen in next year’s Champions League, as they are 6 points behind Arsenal, who round out the top four, with the Gunners having an extra match to play.
Ralf Rangnick’s charges are still not even sure of the Europa League, as West Ham and Wolves can still easily overtake them in the table and that would mean that Manchester United could only appear in the Conference League or miss Europe altogether.
And despite the loss at the Emirates Stadium, however, Cristiano Ronaldo has forever made football history by scoring his 100th goal in the English Premier League.
The Portuguese legend thus became the first ever footballer to break the 100-goal mark in the Premier League and Spanish La Liga.
However, it is questionable whether Ronaldo will continue at Manchester United after this season. After all, he wanted to play in the Champions League, which seems to be out of reach.
