GROUP EAST
Olomouc Mighty Ducks – Vikings Brno 6::5 (3::1)

The Vikings from Brno want to return to the Superleague throne, but they crashed hard in the first round. They took the lead in the second minute, but the Olomouc Mighty Ducks got a break at the end of the first half and held on to it until the end. The Mighty Ducks won 6:5 on their home field in Hněvotín.
Jihlava – MF Baník Ostrava 3::3 (3::1), penalty 1::0

Jihlava didn’t make the playoffs last season, so they have a lot to make up this year. Ostrava entered the match with Baník accordingly and led by two goals at half-time, but Baník equalised after the break and had to decide only by penalties. In the shootout, Jiří Míča crowned an excellent performance and secured a 4:3 win for Jihlava.
Pamako Pardubice – MF Blanensko 1::9 (1::3)

Blanensko went to Pardubice as a favourite and confirmed their role. The South Moravian team won 9:1 on the field of Pamak and as usual, Blanenský’s playing coach and captain Ondřej Paděra was on a rampage. He scored two goals in the first half, three more after the break and crowned his performance with an assist on Radim Muzikant’s last goal.
GROUP WEST
Partyzan Příbram – Hanspaulka Praha 4::6 (2::4)

The defending champions from Hanspaulka Praha started the new season on the turf of Příbram, who resisted them fiercely. Prague’s captain Stanislav Mařík helped them with an own goal at the beginning, then at the end of the half he headed into the right net and increased the visitors’ lead by three goals. Hanspaulka kept the lead in the second half and took home the win 6:4.
Wolves Kolín – Most 1::5 (0::5)

The Kolín Wolves underwent a significant change over the summer, but their opening game of the season did not go well. Most led from the third minute, when Denis Laňka, a newcomer in the Superliga of small football, came to the fore. The North Czechs scored four more goals before the break and the Wolves only corrected the score to 1:5 thanks to Martin Bláha.
Rytíři Plzeň – SC Koráb Praha 1::6 (0::3)

Judge: Kohout – Št’astka. PENALTY:: Tosovsky, Kutny, Denk (all Plzen).
Plzeň Knights also have a lot to improve after last year’s unsuccessful season, but in the opening game they welcomed the bronze medal team of the last season and Koráb Praha clearly dominated from the beginning. They scored three goals in the first half, three more in the second half and won 6:1. David Macháček was the most significant contributor to the win with a hat trick and an assist.
