Fans are less than seven weeks away from the biggest possible fight on the Czech MMA scene. While Patrik Kincl is focusing on his preparation in his home gym, Karlos Vémola has left for the German UFD gym, where Kincl’s former conqueror trains.

Karlos Vémola prepares for his fight with Kincl against Robert Soldic

The rematch of the biggest fight on the Czech MMA scene is inexorably approaching. The rivalry between the two men has been going on for almost five years now and mixed martial arts fans are full of anticipation. The rematch has already failed twice.

Both fighters are in the stage of fight preparation and while Patrik Kincl is betting on home environment, his opponent is touring foreign camps. After Karlos Vémola was in Thailand, he went to the German UFD Gym.

Europe’s biggest MMA stars come to the training centre in Düsseldorf. But it is also the home gym of OKTAGON fighters Hatef Moeil and David Zawada. But Roberto Soldic in particular trains there and could help Vemola significantly with his rival.

The Croatian fighter just fought Patrik Kinclo in KSW in Poland in 2021. In fact, in the welterweight title fight he defeated the Czech fighter by technical knockout in the third round and defended his championship belt.

Patrik Kincl is not afraid of training his opponent with his conqueror

It is the experience from this fight that Vémola will want to use in Germany. “I have a camp planned in Germany, where besides a bunch of great middleweights they also have a dude who beat Kincl in his last fight outside of OKTAGON, ” Vémola said on his Instagram two months ago.

Kincl has now followed his words in an interview with Sport.cz. “I don’t think it’s a very good insight into me. Maybe different than what you can read from the games. It’s been some time ago, too,” he expressed his opinion about the opponent’s foreign camp.

“I’ve moved on since then. It gave me a lot of things. I started to work on my mistakes and I dare to say that I am currently much better than during that match,” he believes in his abilities.

Let’s hope that we will see the expected rematch for the third time. Another postponement would be a big blow to him. “I try not to let this happen at all. I’m preparing for the O2 arena and I believe that the fight will take place 99.9% of the time,” he added.
