Liverpool are not very active in the transfer market and so the club’s management has focused on important signings within their own camp. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho and Alisson Becker have confirmed their future with Liverpool by signing new long-term contracts. At the same time, they are among the highest paid players in the team.

The 22-year-old Englishman is Liverpool’s right-back and made his first-team debut in October 2016.

Since then, he has played 170 games and has developed into a key mainstay for The Reds. He has already managed to win the Champions League and the Premier League with the club.

“I’m happy to extend my contract here. It’s the only club I’ve known so far in my career. I’ve spent a lot of time here and it’s only good for me that I can stay here for another long time.”

Days later, Fabinho also confirmed his future at Anfield, committing to the club until 2026. The former Monaco player transferred to Liverpool in 2018 for €45 million.

Very soon, he became a key figure in the starting line-up and helped the team to triumph in the Champions League and Premier League. He is currently one of the best defensive midfielders of the moment.

Fabinho’s statement after signing the new contract. It is now official and I am happy.

We have achieved a lot of success together and I believe Liverpool is the best club for me. The best place where I can grow and learn. I believe the next big things are yet to come.”

The third to join the party is the Liverpool goalkeeper, who has committed to the club until 2027. The Brazilian joined The Reds in 2018 for €62 million and has been a big part of the club’s biggest successes of recent years.

He was also a hero last season, in the end of which he sensationally decided Liverpool’s victory against WBA, securing their ticket to this year’s Champions League. So there is no doubt that Alisson is an absolutely key figure for Klopp.

Of course, the club’s management is not done signing important players. In fact, it also plans to extend the contracts of Van Dijk, Salah, Mané and also Henderson.
