Shem Rock back in the Oktagon and with a better contract? Unbelievable, burn him a little, reacts angrily Jaroslav Pokorny
It wasn’t easy, but Oktagon did it. Shem Rock remains in the Czechoslovak organization and although this is great news for some, there are many, if not more, for whom it is not so great news. An example is Jaroslav Pokorný, who got really heated over the information.

The Oktagon has had its second gala in England. After visiting Manchester, he showed up in Newcastle with the OKTAGON 52 gala. He had two great things in store for the crowd. He will be visiting Birmingham in April and the event will feature two local stars, namely Oktagon Challenge winner George Staines and the controversial Shem Rock.
It was the fact that the latter was able to retain the former that was the very surprising news. Not too long ago, it looked like the paths of the Oktagon and the Liverpool fighter would part ways. Shaqueme had found a new manager and seemed more likely to appear in Cage Warriors.
It’s questionable whether there has ever been a fighter this unpopular in the Oktagon. Shem tries to sell everything at any price, often going beyond the limit, as the veteran of the Czech scene Jaroslav Pokorný knows very well. He had his say on the signing of the Liverpool fighter.
Shem Rock is back? Pokorny takes it hard
Shem Rock was supposed to fight Jaroslav Pokorny at the tournament in Manchester. It was expected to be a heated battle. They both used a lot of trahstalk, but it was Shaqueme who started it all, who was constantly running into Jubox.
But then came the problem at the weigh-in, when the staredown was about to happen. Pokorny didn’t want to take it, but he had to. And that was a mistake. Rock reacted hastily to one of his moves and sent a kick that took Jubox out of the match. There was no replacement.
It was a loss for both men, and it was a loss for Oktagon. It was the imaginary highlight of the event. Shem Rock was fined, though he denies it. A shootout ensued, it was discussed whether the match would happen another time, but Jubox shouldn’t have agreed to it.
On top of that, the Brit then messed around with leaving the Oktagon when his contract expired and his departure to Cage Warriors was addressed. That didn’t happen though and Shem is back. Pokorny had something to say about that.
On his social networks, Pokorny took a swipe at his rival
“Shem Rock is back? That’s really unbelievable. Dude hurt me at the weigh-ins and I’m gonna get a few pennies for it. Then he schedules attempt number two for the O2 arena and two weeks before the event he says he’s going to another organization and the fight gets cancelled. That’s another minus in training and a chance to fight,” Jubox expressed on Instagram.
“I didn’t even bother calling anyone to tell me the fight was cancelled. I found out from the press conference. Then he goes back to the Oktagon and gets a better contract and starts challenging me? He barely makes lightweight and starts challenging Samuel Bark, who typologically fits him. Burn him a little,” Pokorny added.
