After the defeat in the Tipsport Gamechanger, David Kozma decides whether to take a break for a while. However, Apollo Silva has now stepped up and is looking for a rematch. What is his message?
The rematch with Bojan Velickovic didn’t work out for him. David Kozma fell hard and his journey through the Tipsport Gamechanger ended in the semi-finals. After the bitter defeat, he is now thinking about his future.
He hasn’t let the fans know if he’s going to take a break from MMA for a while, but according to those around him, it’s likely. This is even after being touted by fans for a reserve fight at the O2 Arena in December.
Below the results of the voting, Apollo Silva came in second. He would love to get into this fight and have a chance to earn some more nice money.
Moreover, he has fought Kozma in the past and was not even close to winning, but Kozma is tough and just anything will not bring him down. What was his message on Instagram?
“First of all congratulations to David for winning the vote but I think we could give all the fans an amazing fight! It would be a golden fight for everyone who loves MMA!
And I think this fight makes sense because Apollo is number 2 in the rankings and he also won his last fight and Kozma is number 1 in the rankings and he lost his last fight. Leandro Apollo “Ty Demente” vs David Kozma. What do you think, my friends?” he wrote under the post.
Fans began to explain that Kozma needed to rest for a while, but he was quick to respond by saying that rest simply doesn’t exist for an MMA fighter.
There is no rest for one who has chosen the path of a fighter. The journey continues. We’ve all had tough fights and that’s not going to change! What does a fighter do? He fights! So it’s only fair that I ask for a fight that makes sense and that everyone who likes MMA would want to see,” he added.
