Oktagon has finished the Fenin! We thought they both had a great desire to change, but they had problems with it, Novotny admitted
As expected, Martin Fenin will not compete in the Octagon. The organization decided to cancel the project, the reason was the difficulties of both “wrestlers” towards training and healthy lifestyle. Ondřej Novotný, the promoter, announced.

There was silence around the Martin Fenin project in the Octagon for quite a long time. That’s also why there was speculation that there would be nothing in the end, as both fighters are supposed to follow a set schedule.
Fenin is known for his love of the nightlife and even though he promised the organization that he would change, he apparently couldn’t deliver. The Octagon isn’t Clash of the Stars and can’t afford to let someone into the cage who isn’t ready.
With Fenin not giving much to training and not giving much to a healthy lifestyle, the organization had no choice but to put the project on ice at the Frankfurt football stadium.
“The Fenin vs Pannewitz project is over! We have stopped the project and cancelled it. We hate to lose, I hate it, but I’m willing to accept it. I’ve been saying for a long time, let’s [Bleep] it.
We thought they both had a great desire to change, but they had trouble doing it. They were big enough that it didn’t fit in with filming.
When you do a reality show, you need to film it, and if you can’t film it, there is no reality show. We wish both of them to have a happy life, but without the Octagon and the joint project,” he said on MMA Flight Through the World.
Oktagon had big plans for Fennino, they love him in Frankfurt of all places, and masses of viewers were expected to turn up. But as it happens, not everything works out the way everyone dreams and it’s time to take it a step further.
