Big comeback! Miroslav Broz returns to the Octagon after a short stint in the RFA
The Octagon organization announced one big return on Thursday afternoon! Miroslav Brož, who may be a theoretical replacement for Patrik Kinclo in Tipsport Gamechanger, is joining the organization after a short stint in the RFA.
When the new RFA organization came on the scene, there were several transfers. The first to leave the Octagon was Leo Brichta, but shortly after that, David Hosek and Miroslav Brož were also persuaded. The latter only managed two fights in the organization.
He left the Oktagon because the competition offered a bigger financial reward, but at the beginning of this year he decided to listen to the temptation and came back there, where he enjoyed five victories.
“INQUISITOR is back! Andrenalin and crazy shootouts! What welterweight match do you want to see with Mira Broz?” announced the organization on its social media.
Promoter Boris Marhansky himself explained his end in an RFA interview a few days ago. “Miro was at our beginnings, for which we thank him. We will wish him all the best for his career, whatever he decides.
It’s normal that some fighters will move to us and some to another organization and it will happen several times in the future.
I’m glad that in less than a year since our first tournament some fighters have managed to get great contracts with world organizations and we can still see them here,” he said.
What is the reason for this transfer? Probably only Brož himself knows, but the reason may be that the RFA is still not one of the established brands and the spectators don’t visit its halls much.
He may prefer to reduce the demands in terms of finances, after all, if he will be seen in the Octagon, it will also help him with regard to possible sponsors.
