Brož on Gamechanger: We didn’t talk about that at all. It’s a great project, but I don’t deserve to be there

The Octagon organization announced one big return on Thursday afternoon! Miroslav Brož is coming to its stable after a short anabasis in RFA. Is he an alternative to Gamechanger?

When the new RFA organization came on the scene, there were several transfers. The first to leave the Octagon was Leo Brichta, but shortly after that, David Hosek and Miroslav Broz were also persuaded.

The latter only managed two fights in the organization. He left the Oktagon because the competition offered a bigger financial reward, but at the beginning of this year he decided to listen to the temptation and came back to the place where he enjoyed five victories.

“If I wanted titles, I would have stayed in the RFA. If I want money, I’m going to KSW immediately. Of course, there’s a huge prestige there as well. A lot of people were just wondering that I made that decision because KSW is a huge traditional organization, but I’m just Czech.

I wrestle here. I’m 34 years old. I have maybe 2-3 of my best years ahead of me and I want to make good, tough fights. I don’t want to go out. I want to stay here and make good fights,“ explained Broz in an interview with MMA Shorties.

There are two Czechs in it, namely David Kozma and Patrik Kincl, but the latter will probably choose a rematch with Vemola instead and the spot will become vacant.

“We didn’t talk about that at all. It’s a great project, but I don’t deserve to be there. I really feel that way. It’s not about the stats, it’s about the fact that I’m back now and I have absolutely no right to ask for anything. I have my feet firmly on the ground on this one.

I came back to play my best games, to win. But I take it that I’m back at the beginning, that I should start from the tail. I have to prove myself first. Only then can we talk about the possibility of moving up,” he explained in an interview with Kaocko.cz.

If Kincl decides to withdraw from the project, another Czech will probably get the chance. Most speculation is about Andrej Kalashnikov or Matúš Juráček.
