Mikulášek vs. Boráros in MMA? If Gábor wants it, we’ll give it to them, said Novotný

The tournament in Prague’s O2 arena is over and the fans could enjoy an evening full of interesting matches, which included some surprises.
However, there was none in the match between Václav Mikulášek and Gábor Boráros. The match was held in an unconventional boxing venue and the favourite was the Ostrava native.
He eventually won, but the match was spoiled by his unnecessary fouls. One punch in particular resulted in a hard KO and he was subsequently docked a point as it was in stoppage time.
“Vasek screwed up, he’s apologized to me a hundred times, but that’s just the way he is… He has a personality, some things, some behavior, some demeanor, that’s why he’s loved and hated. The way he stretched that Gabor and actually knocked him out, the chain fell off and then it was like…” said Ondrej Novotny in MMA Flight Through the World
“People are living it, even though everybody was cursing it, they were waiting for it. Now everyone is rightfully spitting on it… Gábor said he didn’t train at all, I don’t think so, but the truth is he was sick. But he gave Vasek a good blow job here and there,” he added.
For this reason, there is also talk of a rematch, in MMA, where Boráros would have more chances. He would have a big weight deficit again, but given the story, it would interest a lot of fans.
“I agree that the boxing was not fantastic entertainment. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but then Gabor was p**ed off and said he was going to beat him up in MMA when he did that to him, so all bad things are good for something. If Gábor wants an MMA fight with Mikulášek, we’ll give it to them,” Novotný finished.
