Gamechanger’s favourite? I’m still impatiently waiting for my big hot handcuff, Vémola said
The Octagon organization is planning really big things in 2023. One of them is undoubtedly Tipsport Gameganger, in which the top welterweights will fight. Karlos Vémola has outlined his wish for one name and would fit him straight in as one of the favourites.
But back to Gamechanger. In this we are getting more names and the space for more fighters is gradually getting thinner. On Thursday, Melvin van Suijdam, unknown to most, was added.
The experienced Dutchman is also a surprise given his position in the world rankings, as he is only in the fourth hundred.
Fans are hoping to see more well-known and quality names. The market is quite fragmented and there are not many options, but Karlos Vémola has now outlined who he would like to see in Gamechanger.
“I’m still anxiously waiting for my big iron in the fire to see if London Shootfighters makes a deal with Octagon and John Hathaway joins from us.
Incredible story of a fighter who made it 17-2 in the UFC and then was sick for 8 years and then put on a professorial performance in Germany. Normally I never bet, but if John Hathaway jumps into Gamechanger, I’ll bet on him to be in the finals,” he said on his Instagram live stream.
His start in Gamechanger has been talked about since shortly after the project was unveiled, with the possibility that he is likely to take part.
It makes sense from all sides, as the organisation is planning to expand into the British Isles and he could be its ambassador. So let’s be surprised if Octagon announces it soon.
