The Brazilian fighter absolutely destroyed the former Oktagon champion, he needed less than three rounds to win, in which he dealt the home star five knockdowns. After the fight, there was a big discussion about whether the fight should have been stopped earlier.

Referee Jan Vobornik, who refereed the fight in the cage, faced a lot of criticism. Not only from the fans, but also from some media. There was also a lot of talk about whether he would have let the match go on this long if Kozma hadn’t been beaten.

After all, even the promoter Ondrej Novotny believes that if the situation had been reversed and Brito had experienced similar bullying, the fight probably wouldn’t have lasted so long.

And what about Kozma? “I’ve read some comments that Vobornik left me there to be beaten unnecessarily and ended it terribly late, but I don’t think so. He ended it just right,” he commented to his YouTube channel.

“For me, I’d still let the fight go on, but I’m a fool. Anyway, it would have been pointless. I thank him for handling it perfectly. I was in my right mind the whole time in that fight, I kept fighting back, reacting. He stopped it just right,” he added about Vobornik.
