Kincl revealed his health condition. I want a rematch and a Game Changer, he’s clear. He’s not getting paid? It will be unpleasant, he says
Octagon puts out the fire. Patrik Kincelo with Karlos Vemola was the main attraction for the tournament with the serial number 38, but it won’t be. The first to withdraw due to health problems was Terminator, then Kincl also refused to take the risk. He spoke about his current condition.
Octagon puts out the fire. Patrik Kincelo with Karlos Vémola was the main attraction for the tournament with the serial number 38, but it won’t be. The first to withdraw due to health problems was Terminator, then Kincl refused to take the risk. He spoke about his current condition.
When Karlos Vémola ended up in the hospital, the negotiations had to start. After all, it was mainly his fight with Patrik Kincl that would draw 20,000 people. But in the end, neither of them will appear at the O2 Arena.
But the middleweight champion still doesn’t know what’s next. “I’d like to hear what the options are. If I should focus on the pyramid or if there is a real chance for a rematch. I’d like to do both, but I don’t think that’s an option. Right now it’s fresh and different emotions are fighting inside me. I want to chop it up with a clear head,” he said in an interview with Kaocko.cz.
Kincl revealed that he has two torn tendons in his hand, and there is a strong possibility that he would tear them in the fight. However, he was counting on that and told promoter Ondrej Novotny about it when they were arranging the Game Changer.
It’s going to be unpleasant, he says of the payout cut
But besides that, he’s understandably bothered by the fact that he lost probably the biggest paycheck of his wrestling career. Even with Christmas coming up, that’s understandably a big inconvenience.
“I guess everybody can imagine what it’s like to lose a paycheck you counted on and need. On top of that, I’ve sent a lot of money to camps, to training, I’ve cancelled private training sessions and I’ve focused purely on the game. It’s going to be uncomfortable,” he added.
But now he has to focus on recovering as quickly and honestly as possible. He has an important decision to make and that is also why he wants to put the sport behind him at least over the holidays.
