Is your career coming to an end? I don’t feel any fire at the moment, said Ivan Buchinger

Ivan Buchinger had won two titles in the Octagon and was about to fight for a third. Unfortunately, he got injured and now he doesn’t own any. For this reason, it is one of the worst periods of his career. Will he come back?
Ivan Buchinger’s career is rich indeed. The now thirty-six year old fighter has won 39 fights and eight times has known the taste of defeat. In the last one, he lost the title to Losen Keita.
He had to undergo knee surgery, and he has problems with his shoulder, which may require another operation. We won’t see him fight like this for a while.
“It’s disastrous, unfortunately. I tore the anterior cruciate ligament in my knee and had surgery in June. It’s in pretty good condition now, it just needs time,” he said in an interview with Sport.
However, the constant injuries also cause a reluctance to return, which is now quite strong in the former champion. Will we ever see his return?
“I would like to come back, I can’t end my career after such a loss. The problem is that I don’t feel any fire at the moment. Maybe when a fight comes, I’ll get some more fire, but I don’t know,” he added.
But his career is probably already coming to an end. Quite possibly he’ll round his win total to 40 and then say goodbye to professional MMA.
