Vémola vs. Ilič: How does the promoter Ondřej Novotný see their fight?

Karlos Vémola will fight Aleksandar Ilic for the Octagon welterweight title tonight around midnight. The Czech Terminator is the big favorite, but the Joker is definitely not as bad as some think. How does promoter Novotny see it?
Karlos Vémola has beaten two of his opponents after injury and is now preparing for a third. He will challenge Serbian Aleksandar Ilic for the Octagon welterweight championship belt.
The fight was a big upset for him, as he constantly insulted Vemola, which sparked a rivalry between them. But the majority of the fans are counting on Vemola to win.
The low odds are a good thing, because the fans are betting like crazy on Vemola. But it must be said that Ilic is definitely not the underdog he may seem.
That’s what the promoter Ondřej Novotný said, who outlined what he expects the fight to be like. “It is clear that they will both bet on what they are best at. Karlos will try to take him to the ground, Ilic will try to stay standing. I think both of them will be able to assert themselves at certain stages of the fight.
Then it will depend on who’s better at it. But every round starts in the standup, Ilic will have a slight advantage there. Karlos will go for the takedown. I don’t think we need to talk about him overboxing. I’m curious to see it myself.
I think a lot of people underestimate Joker, but I think he’s an extremely dangerous opponent. He’s been able to put his opponent on the back foot in just about every fight he’s had. I would see it that in order for Karlos to get the title, he will have to survive at least one critical moment,” said Novotny in an interview with Kaocko.cz.
