The G.I.C. La Plate team opens the way to European competitions
The G.I.C. La Plate team fulfilled their goal and turned their dream into a plan with their success in the Czech National Cup. He will play with the best European opponents in the EMF EuroCup.
Another outstanding sporting achievement of the G.I.C La Plate team, this year’s Hanspaul League champion, under the leadership of the excellent coach Mr. Mirek Vostatek and the team captain, blood and spirit striker, Jindřich Novotný, is the silver in the Czech National Cup.
This opens the way to the EMF EuroCup. And the Champions League, given the favourable coefficients, will probably also be open to the G.I.C. La Plate team.
The second best team in the Czech Republic, which until exactly a year ago played the second competition in the Prague Hanspaul League with 705 active teams in the eight-league PSMF organization, has become the finalist of the Czech Republic in small football.
It is a fantastic work of a dynamic Prague team of young athletes, which has demonstrated on the field many wins in the past 365 days and thus its rapid rise among the elite in Czech small football.
It should be noted that the Czech Republic is the current holder of the World Minifootball Federation World Championship trophy, so all the final matches can be called a “Clash of the Titans”.
What the G.I.C. La Plate team did yesterday was, in a word, remarkable. “In the final (7th game in a row), we had no more strength. We couldn’t have a 5+5+1 line-up, so with seven and a goalkeeper our boys got a result beyond all expectations. And I’m happy that everyone is injury-free after such a crazy workload,” says the representative of the team’s partner 121 ELITE Sports.
“I was very proud of this phenomenal group of sportsmen and friends, and we thank everyone we made happy for their support and for their support of this young team of talented footballers. We were outnumbered, even so it was hard to accept silverware, the boys went into every game fighting and winning,” he added.
Now it is time to rest, to celebrate partial success and to prepare G.I.C. La Plate for the international field.
