Lucie Pudilova won the Octagon 32 tournament against Caroline Yariwake and improved her streak to 13:7. However, she got hurt in the first round and every shot after that must have hurt her. So her boxing match is in jeopardy.
The most famous Czech MMA fighter Lucie Pudilova managed to defeat Brazilian Caroline Yariwake at the Oktagon 32 tournament, who, like her previous opponent, did not win.
This time, however, Pudilova and her team went into the match and deservedly won. However, the joy was slightly masked by the injury she sustained in the match.
The match went three rounds, but in the first round Pudilova was already injured, which she then said after the fight itself. What happened to her? She has now revealed it on her Instagram.
“This fight was a big test for me because I broke a bone in my right hand in the first round. With each successive punch I felt that something was wrong but it didn’t break me and like in every fight I left everything out there and thanks to your support in the arena I made it to the winning end,” she said.
According to the attached X-ray, it is a fracture of the metacarpal bone of her index finger, so she will have to recover, but it significantly jeopardizes her May boxing duel.
Her opponent is to be Lucie Sedlacek, Pudilova has until the end of May. So there is still a lot of time left, but it is questionable whether she will be able to make it.
