I’d like to challenge Kinceloe, I’m not impressed by his attitude, says Alex Lohoré
Patrik Kincl won the Octagon middleweight championship belt on Saturday. He has a number of opponents, although it is more than likely that his next opponent will be Karlos Vémola. But Alex Lohoré is also trying to get on his radar.
Patrik Kincl won the Octagon middleweight championship belt on Saturday. He has a number of opponents, although it is more than likely that his next opponent will be Karlos Vémola. But Alex Lohoré is also trying to get on his radar.
Patrik Kincl defeated Samuel Kristofich without much trouble and became the new middleweight champion of the Oktagon organization.
Nothing prevents him from taking on his rival Karlos Vemola, who is recovering from an injury. First, however, Vémola will take on the Pirate, who had confidence in him.
But to many people this fight doesn’t make sense, after all the fight would look similar to the one with Kinclo and the Pirate doesn’t have much of a chance of success, he would be notching up his second straight defeat.
In that case Kincl would have to wait for another fight probably at the end of the year, but not only Vémola wants the fight, but also maybe Alex Lohoré.
He lost his opening two fights in the Octagon, but then he beat Tata Primera and now Zdenek Polivka, so he thinks he could go for the title again.
“I’m a fighter first and foremost, so I basically don’t care if I fight at welterweight or middleweight. If I get a chance at welterweight I’ll jump at it, but it’s the same with middleweight.
I would love to fight for the title. Middleweight is good for me and I’d like to challenge Patrik Kinceloe. I’m not very impressed with his attitude. I think he’s got a lot to work on.
I think I could give him a lot of heat. I think we should make this fight. But of course it’s up to the bosses what they say,” Lohoré said at the press conference.
