Denys Bondar made his UFC debut on Saturday night. However, the dream turned into a nightmare as a serious injury ended the fight.
Malcolm Gordon was the Ukrainian fighter’s opponent, and the bout was stopped after 82 seconds by the referee due to a nasty fracture in Bondar’s leg.
Bondar’s arm could not withstand the pressure and broke at the elbow, followed by his screams of pain and the referee soon knew that he was in bad shape and the fight could not continue.
Thus, the UFC dream began very badly for Bondar. Indeed, the twenty-nine year old Ukrainian had recorded just two defeats to that point.
His streak of eight wins in a row was thus ended, but after his return from injury he will surely have the opportunity to show the world his qualities.
On the other hand, the Canadian fighter Gordon followed up his last win last July, before that he had two defeats.
