The Octagon welterweight champion is not currently signed with the Czechoslovak number one organization, so he is negotiating with other organizations. He has even communicated with the RFA, which has taken over many fighters from Oktagon.
However, RFA promoter Boris Marhansky revealed that there is no agreement now and that we definitely should not expect Viktor Peshta to appear in any of the domestic organizations in the near future. Apparently he is on his way abroad.
Slovak server Sport.sk reported on Tuesday that the second Czech in the UFC has received an offer from the PFL organization, which has the biggest representation in the top 50 of the world’s welterweight rankings after the UFC and Bellator.
It is in the PFL that Pešta could get closer to his dream of returning to the UFC. In addition, he can make some very good money.
The PFL is run in a league format, culminating in playoff eliminator fights. Each weight class fights for $1 million, or nearly $21.5 million.
Peshta has not responded to the speculation so far. However, his departure from the Octagon would be a major blow to the organization.
