Will Silence establish a new dynasty? He wants to defeat the “Lidl chef” in spring, he would like to end Buchinger’s career in autumn

Jakub Tichota confirmed his role as the favourite on Thursday night and managed to beat Dawid Kareta with a dominant performance on points. More than his performance, however, what surprised me was his post-match statement, in which he showed a lot of confidence.
That Jakub Tichota is one of the greatest, if not the greatest Czech talent in MMA has been widely known for some time. So far he has shown humility and great awareness. But after his win over Dawid Kareta, he also showed his confident side.
Immediately in the cage after the fight, he presented a clear plan for 2022. In the spring he wants to beat the “chef from Lidl”, meaning Roman Paulus, and in the autumn he would like to end the career of the legendary Ivan Buchinger. He repeated his words at the press conference.
“It’s no secret that I want the Octagon belt. I know I have to fight the champion, I’m confident in Ivan Buchinger, but I know he’s injured,” Tichota expressed.
And why does he want to cut a duel with the Slovakian talent before the title fight? “He said my name in the post-match interview. I don’t think he’s a fighter of the quality a lot of people think. In March or April I will show that I am three classes away,” the Czech fighter is clear.
His prediction for both fights is more than clear: ” I will dominate against both of them. Ivan is a gentleman fighter, but I believe I have what it takes and I will confirm my qualities. At least he won’t have to call off fights due to injury because I will end this legend’s career and establish a new dynasty.”
Tichota is one of the fighters who is predicted to have a bright future not only on our scene, but also eventually in the UFC. Many people praise his attitude, professionalism and intelligence.
Will 2022 be a breakout year for him?
