Vémola will not fight Pirate! The operated hand won’t heal. Career in jeopardy?

The anticipated Oktagon 30 tournament will lose its biggest star. Karlos Vémola will not be able to participate due to his operated hand. Not only his boxing match with Marpo, which is scheduled for February, is in danger, but probably his career as well.

Karlos Vémola surprisingly did not react for a long time to the latest statement of Samuel Kristofich, who accepted the challenge that the winner of the fight takes the payday of the other. So speculations began to swarm. Unfortunately, the negative ones were confirmed.

The Terminator is unable to take the match against the Pirate. His operated hand is not healing as it should. His neck is dying. “On the outside it looked ok, but on the inside it’s really bad. The ligament is just not healing and it’s dying,” Vémola said in a video for fans.

Why didn’t the Olomouc native respond to the Slovak fighter? He reportedly had a lot to worry about through dealing with health issues. He had already contacted Octagon on Sunday about the bad news from the MRI results.

“Believe me, nobody is more sorry than me. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be a great gala, that Oktagon won’t find a great replacement for me and that you won’t enjoy the tournament. What I’m most sorry about, though, is that I have no prospects of ever fighting. Or if I’ll ever fight again,” Vémola admitted his fears for his career.

One thing is certain. He has to put his arm in a brace for at least two months. After that, we’ll see what’s next for Terminator’s career.
