Rat crawled out of the sewer? Vémola comments on Kincelo’s arrival in the Octagon
This is going to be interesting! Octagon announced on Saturday who will replace Karlos Vemola in the year-end title fight with The Pirate. Can’t say that the Terminator is happy about that, though. What does the Olomouc native have to say about his replacement?
This is going to be interesting! Octagon announced on Saturday who will replace Karlos Vemola in the year-end title fight with The Pirate. Can’t say that the Terminator is happy about that, though. What does the Olomouc native have to say about his replacement?
The spectacular Oktagon 30 tournament is coming up. Unfortunately, the expected battle between Karlos Vemola and Samuel Kristofich will not take place. The former has health complications and it is uncertain when and if he will be able to continue his career.
There has been a lot of talk about who will replace him. There were speculations about names like Mikhail Ragozin, David Hosek or Patrik Kincl, who finally officially signed to Oktagon and will take part in the fight with Pirate.
The recent participant in the title fight of the Polish KSW organization wants to make himself even more visible in front of his home fans. In addition, a win over Pirate would bring him much closer to the long desired rematch with Terminator.
And what does Vemola actually have to say about Kinc’s involvement? He wasn’t exactly enthusiastic. “It’s interesting that when I was champion, there was no sign of him. Now the path to the title is easier, so suddenly the rats are out of the sewer,” the Terminator expressed on Instagram.
“Never mind. At least the champion will be someone I’ve already beaten pretty clearly. I’ll have all the more reason to come back soon. Maybe there will be that promised rematch that was supposed to happen back in XFN,” Vémola added.
It has to be said that even Kincl didn’t avoid alluding to the Terminator in his promo for the fight with the Pirate. In fact, he announced that there is a new king in the Octagon. His goal, outside of winning a title, is to back Vemola into a corner.
So what happens in the middleweight division will continue to be very interesting to watch.
