Vemola? I’m an idiot for feeling sorry for him! I feel bitter about him, says Kincl
Patrik Kincl was announced as the replacement for Karlos Vemola in the title fight with Samuel Kristofich on Saturday. However, this doesn’t sit well with the Terminator, who believes someone who has fought his way up in the organization should have been given the chance. Kincl has now responded to these words.
Patrik Kincl said in a recent interview that he doesn’t wish the injury and possible end of Karlos Vemola’s career. However, Vemola did not leave a dry thread on Kincl in another interview.
He doesn’t like the fact that he was given the chance to fight for the title at the expense of those who have made it in the organization. He named Miloš Petrášek and Matěj Peňáze.
Kincl got so angry and in an interview with iSport he got tougher. “I’m such a jerk that I originally wanted to feel sorry for him because of the injury. In terms of being an athlete too, I understand that it’s very bad.
However, with his interview, that’s gone. I don’t know what to say… I can feel the bitterness from him already. He’sburying his sporting legacy deeper and deeper with every statement like that,” he said.
“If it’s about him and the Octagon taking fighters who have never wrestled there, that’s fine. He would want to make concessions in that as a challenger, he’s going to come in second… So if he’s making concessions, that’s fine, but if it’s someone else, he’s going to start spitting.
Quite frankly, I’m a Czech wrestler and the highest ranked wrestler right now. Just because I’m from another organization, I don’t think it means that much. Czech fans know me, I’ve been on the scene for a while and I think I deserve it,” he added.
If Kincl wins the title, it will be interesting to see how Vémola feels about it. After the announcement, he did say that his next fight will be with Pirate and that’s why he’ll be rooting for him to go for the title right away.
