Will Kincl become the star face of the new RFA organization? In his words, it’s not far off

Patrik Kincl lost to Robert Soldic in a title fight in KSW last month and is now thinking about his future. He would like to stay in KSW, but he could also fight on alternate starts in another organization. A new offer is coming from the RFA, which is about to hold its first tournament.

Patrik Kincl had a chance to win the KSW title last month, however he lost to Robert Soldic. He is now negotiating a new contract with KSW and expects to be able to make appearances elsewhere from time to time.

Kincl would like to fight in the Czech Republic, where the Octagon has almost a monopoly. But now a rival RFA is emerging, which has already outbid Leo Brichta and plans to acquire Kincl as well.

“If KSW will allow me to alternate starts, according to initial meetings it looks closer to RFA, where they wouldn’t mind alternating starts. Ondra Novotny said that they would like a pure exclusive, so I want to meet him and see if he’ll agree to any demands.

So far it looks like RFA. But I’ve been talking to Ondra first, so I want to meet him again,” Kincl said in an interview with Kaocko.

If Kincl were to strengthen RFA, it would be a rather missed opportunity for the Octagon. Ondrej Novotny has talked in the past about welcoming competition, but he wasn’t too excited about the formation of RFA.

“I knew that the organization was being formed. This guy (Boris Marhansky, RFA promoter) is preaching water and drinking wine, so we have another successor to Lord Voldemort (Peter Karesh, XFN promoter). He’s going around the fighters without contacting their managers,” he told iSport.
