Viktor Pest is the champion! The doctor stopped the match due to an injury to his opponent

The Octagon 28 tournament is over! The highlight of the evening was Viktor Pest who defeated Stephan Pütz and has the title in his pocket. However, there were others on the main card, all domestic wrestlers.

Viktor Pešta has the welterweight title! In the highlight of the Oktagon 28 tournament, he defeated his German opponent thanks to the decision of the doctor who stopped the fight after the third round.

Stephan Pütz leaves his first fight in the Oktagon organization defeated. And he’s certainly not happy with that, he wanted to continue the fight himself.

What happened to him? He took an elbow from Pütz and the injury to his nose was quite extensive, his nose was torn and reportedly bone was visible. So now the question is whether Peshta will allow his opponent the rematch he wants.

Outside of this fight, David Hosek, Andrei Kalashnik, Miroslav Brož, Leo Brichta and Petr Kníže enjoyed victories on the main card.

Hošek also won thanks to an error by the referee who ended the match earlier than he should have. Marcin Naruszczka’s team, who felt they had been robbed in the previous game, complained about it after the match.

An interesting battle between the Prince and the Brit needs to be mentioned as well. The 24-year-old Brazilian absolutely crushed his opponent’s nose at the end of the first round, but Monster didn’t give in and won on points.
