Attila’s challenge? I’m an asshole, I’m emigrating from the Republic, Kincl jokes. Champion and Octagon offered a behind-the-scenes look at the fight
Patrik Kincl, the new king of the Octagon, still the middleweight champion and the first Czech to defeat Karlos Vemola. After the fight he revealed that besides the hand injury he had to deal with one more complication. Together with Oktagon, they offered a behind-the-scenes look, in which we learn new information.

OKTAGON 43 delivered a dramatic and emotional show. Especially in the main event, which may not have been the most attractive to the layman’s eye, a lot was at stake. Patrik Kincl wanted to avenge his defeat to the Terminator after five years.
Karlos Vémola was seen as a slight favourite. The inspector also had to deal with health problems. In the week before the fight, his hand swelled up, but it managed to recover before the fight. However, there were other complications that Kincl did not specify after the fight.
We were only able to find out what was bothering him now, when Kincl himself offered a behind-the-scenes look before and after the fight.
“My right calf is pulling, but hopefully it’s not going to cramp,” he sounds in the video during the pre-game warm-up. However, even that didn’t stop the Inspector from winning, which was more dominant than expected.
“It was personal for me, challenging, a lot of ups, downs. Now it’s on cloud seven. I haven’t quite worked it out yet, but I know I’m happy. It’s been a crazy ride. Thank you to the Octagon for throwing down the gauntlet like that,” Kincl said after the win.
However, while still in the cage, Kincl did a thing that no one expected either. He challenged Attila Vegh rather randomly and with a certain degree of exaggeration, who even came to the cage after him.
It was this move that Kundosaki, who was still in the cage after the fight, asked him about while he was still backstage covering the Octagon. The reaction? “I’m such an asshole. I’m going to go out the back door and emigrate from the country,” jokes Inspector.
