Karlos Vémola can no longer consider himself the middleweight king. He lost on points to Patrik Kinclo and decided to fight at welterweight. Even Pirat Kristofich, who was very keen to fight Vemola, has commented on him, but in the end it will probably never happen.

The highlight of the Oktagon 43 tournament was the fight between Patrik Kincelo and Karlos Vemola for the middleweight championship belt. The champion remained unchanged, with Vemola immediately leaving the cage and heading to the hospital during the press conference.

He explained after the fight that his trainers told him he was in the lead and that’s why he didn’t try something else in the final round. After all, others saw it that way, like David Kozma, who is a big friend of Kinceloe.

“I don’t understand how his corner could think something like that. It seems to me like a freak. Still, I can’t imagine that Karlos would start doing something different in the fifth round than what he has been doing up to that point. I think he left everything in the fight. Unfortunately for him it was not enough for Kinc,” said Samuel Krištofič in an interview for Kaocko.cz.

The pirate had promised to fight Vemola in the past, but that is currently unrealistic. The Terminator has announced his retirement from the middleweight division and will fight mostly at welterweight, maybe even at heavyweight.

And what is his future? “When he calms down, he will find out that no tragedy happened. He lost to the reigning champion, a fighter in the top 50 of the world rankings.

Karlos still holds the welterweight belt, where he will face a rematch with Attila Vegh. I think this fight will happen. It offers only benefits to the organization and both of them,” added Pirat.

The fight with Vegh and Kinclo, which was baked before the tournament and was announced at the press conference, will probably not happen anytime soon. But both of them probably took it more with humour than seriously.
