Losing an interesting match of Saturday’s Oktagon! Moldovan Surdu injured, so he will not use even a second chance
This Saturday we can look forward to the Oktagon 43 tournament in Prague’s O2 Arena. It will include, among other things, the quarterfinal matches of Tipsport Gamechanger and the title match between Patrik Kincelo and Karlos Vemola. Unfortunately, we missed one match.
The Oktagon 43 tournament will undoubtedly be one of the most packed in the history of the organization. We will see all the stars, led by Kinclo, Vemola, Kozma and Lohore.
Unfortunately, the latter will not be at the tournament. The organization announced that he was injured shortly before the tournament and immediately had to look for a replacement.
It did, and Gogoladze will finally make his Octagon debut. His opponent will be Britain’s Liam Etebar, who has 10 fights under his belt and has lost only two of them.
His last fight was against van Suijdam, who is fighting for a fairytale win, and Etebar could theoretically face him again if he’s lucky. He has a lot of ground to make up, after all, he lost to him in the second round on a submission.
And it’s up to 81 kilos, as Etebar probably wouldn’t be able to meet the limit in such a short time. Anyway, this is a really good replacement and we can look forward to 11 fights.
