Novotny: Kozma lost an awful lot of money due to Clash of the Stars visits, devalues his brand
David Kozma has another big match ahead of him as he has reached the final of Tipsport Gamechanger and will face Alex Lohore in the O2 Arena. Before that, however, Oktagon promoter Ondřej Novotný spoke about him in connection with the Clash of the Stars organization.
But before the fight, his name was mentioned by promoter Ondrej Novotny in an interview. It’s impossible to say that he praised him, although he doesn’t think badly of him at all. David Kozma is a big fan of the Clash of the Stars bizarro.
Kozma has even attended some of the tournaments himself, even mentioning the organization’s “stars” in interviews or videos on his YouTube channel. And according to Novotny, he’s paying the price.
“I blame him. He has lost an awful lot of money because of it. He won’t like it, but I told him to realize who he is. He’s afamily super dude, he’s gone from zero to hero, everybody loves him, the kids’ hands are reaching out to him who love the Pink Panther, and then he’s devaluing his brand by participating in this s**t,” he told Extra.cz.
“ If you enjoy it, fine. Look at it at home, it’s good. Have fun with it now and then, that’s fine, but you can’t have everything in life.”
The Octagon boss himself says he would never go to a Clash of the Stars event, as it would negate everything he is.
“It’s just my setup, but Kozma will 100% lose some sponsors because of it. We did a supercampaign with him against bullying and then you have to choose whether you’re going to be the good guy you really are or chant ‘fat bitch’ with the other guys,” Novotny added.
