Kincl: The rematch with Vémola has been discussed for the last three years! It was going to the extreme, I was afraid to leave the house

Patrik Kincl is enjoying the full feeling of being the defeated Karlos Vemola and still the reigning Octagon middleweight champion. At the press conference, he spoke about how long the rematch has been dragging on and how he would love for it to finally be over.

After nearly four years, he has found an overcomer. Karlos Vemola fell, falling short to Patrik Kinceloe, who won on points and defended his title as Octagon Middleweight Champion.

It gave back to Vémol his own medicine, as in their first fight it was he who raised his hands above his head. The Terminator, however, did not take the defeat well, not shaking Kinclo’s hand and fleeing the cage.

Unlike the defeat to Attila Vegh, he didn’t even make it to the press conference, leaving the arena with the cameras rolling during the press conference and heading to the hospital for a check-up.

Kincl was pearling at the press conference, you could see how relieved he was that he was the winner. He had finally ended an important phase of his life and would have been happy to have some peace.

“For me the defeat of the first match was quite hard, I don’t like to lose, I don’t take it well. This was already personal at the time, I was biting hard and it turned into me going for a rematch. I worked for it, I fought my way back and then it went to hell again.

Then Ondra and I agreed to revive it again and really maybe the last three years it was dealt with. Every time we talked, it came up. It was going to the extreme, I was afraid to leave the house, lest someone talk to me about the fight.

I know I’m not getting out of it now. Now it’s going to go on for a while and I hope you guys come up with something new so I can get off this train,” he said at the press conference. But he cracked the whip a bit himself by humorously challenging Attila.

He is the one Vémola may not want to face after his defeat. However, there is so much time before the fight that it is now quite premature to speculate about the rest of the former champion’s career.
