Patrik Kincl and Karlos Vémola, two greats of the domestic MMA scene, will face each other this Saturday at the OKTAGON 43 tournament in Prague’s O2 arena. They were supposed to meet in December, but the fight did not take place. The two fighters settled it at the legendary press conference in Ostrava in March. Recall their last verbal shootout.
It should have happened at the end of last year, but it didn’t. Due to Terminator’s injury, the fight was postponed and Inspector didn’t appear in the O2 arena because he didn’t want to risk injury.
In the end, however, Kincl chose a rematch with Vémola and Terminator was able to pull himself together relatively quickly. We will see their rematch on May 20. While before the December date they had a lot to say to each other especially on Face to Face, this year they faced each other in a verbal shootout in March.
It happened during the OKTAGON Time press conference in Ostrava, where other fighters, especially Losene Keita and Mate Sanikidze, or Jonas Magard and Gustavo Lopez, got into it, while Kincl and Vémola didn’t get into any trashtalk.
But then came the tricky question of whether they really had nothing to say to each other. And that was the trigger for the shootout. Kincl answered calmly, but Vémola responded snidely and the Inspector did not like that and reacted very quickly.
So the Terminator had to hear that the lawsuit was his own fault, as he sued “a young frog with whom he goes on two-minute dates and she admits the truth.” Vémol’s wife, Lela, also said her piece about Kinclo from the audience.
Vémola then said that he had to sort this out in the cage. Terminator’s injury and possible absence from the duel, which is scheduled for Saturday, was also discussed. So there is a lot to look forward to. At this press conference, both fighters hyped up the fight more than enough.
