There is a warrior in all of us. The long-term motto of the Oktagon MMA organization and now also the name of the charity project that the Czechoslovak organization launched in early March. You can support up to five stories of people who need help.
Oktagon is a story-driven organization and acts accordingly when it engages in social and charitable activities outside of organizing MMA tournaments. For example, an anti-bullying project is worth mentioning.
In March, however, a new project was launched, the name of which is the same as the organization’s long-standing motto – There’s a fighter in all of us. Oktagon has selected five human stories that can be financially supported.
“Each of us is struggling with something. For each of us, it is the personal struggle that is often the hardest. Whether it is physical or mental hardship. Some people have already won their fight, but others are only at the beginning of their journey,” reads the organisation’s website. It has joined forces with the Donio platform.
Each of the five human stories selected has a patron. The project involved several stars of the Octagon, such as middleweight champion Patrik Kincl, former welterweight king David Kozma, Miloš Petrášek and Vlasto Čepo.
Of course, there are also the names of the organization’s bosses. But Oktagon has also gained support from other well-known personalities. We can mention Lucie Vondráčková, Libor Bouček, Václav Noid Bárta, Michal Holán or Ales Hama.
On the Donio platform, you can browse through the individual stories, which always indicate the total amount that needs to be raised and the percentage that has already been raised.
“We believe that even a small amount can be a great help to others. All we have to do is join together and do our small part. Join us in this fight and be there for every kindness,” reads the message from Oktagon.
