Keita? He’s not too keen on defending his lightweight belt! I’ll throw another fight in the meantime, said Paradeiser
Ronald Paradeiser has a fight with Vlado Sikic today in Munich. If he manages to win, he will once again get closer to a title shot and get a rematch with Losen Keita. However, the Belgian has moved down in weight class, so it’s questionable whether the fight will eventually happen anytime soon.

Ronald Paradeiser is one of the biggest talents in the Octagon MMA organization. At twenty-five years old, he has already had thirteen fights in the organization, having lost only to really tough opponents.
His overcomers in the organization are Mateusz Legierski in the summer of 2019, Ivan Buchinger in a title fight in January 2021 and Losen Keita again a year later.
The Slovak would like to fight for the title a third time, but to do that he needs to win today’s duel with Vlado Sikic. The experienced Croatian has only fallen once in his professional career and is a real challenge for him.
But if he can win, it is clear that he will be Keita’s next challenger. However, the Belgian would like to hold two belts and if he beats Samuel Bark, it will be for the featherweight title.
“Keita is very unpredictable. He’s always talking about 66, which is where he’s going to have his first fight. His plan is to win the title there as well, but he doesn’t really want to defend the lightweight belt. He could have defended it against me in December, but he chose a boxing match with Minci Pales instead.
But I understand. He would have had little time to prepare, so he didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks. Again, I’m not pushing the envelope on this one. If Keita wins against Bark on Saturday, he’ll be facing Mate Sanikidze next in the featherweight division, and with him the title fight. In the meantime, I’ll just throw another fight.
Maybe with Mateusz Kohout or Konrad Dyrschka, but it should probably be someone in the top five. Of course, I’m already confident about the title fight, but again, there’s no need to push it. I want to continue to confirm my quality. I believe that this path will lead me to my goal.
But whether I fight Keita or someone else for the belt afterwards, I don’t really care, although I would like a rematch with him more than anything. But first of all, I have to beat Sikic on Saturday. When I do that, I’ll tell you more about my plans,” said Paradeiser in an interview with Kaocko.cz.
The goals of both fighters are certain and everything will depend on today’s fights. However, Keita himself said that he doesn’t need a fight with Paradeiser, but he doesn’t intend to fight him.
“A fight with him can definitely happen. We both know what to expect from each other. I was sick in the first fight, it was not the best day, but it was still not a problem to not beat the champion. With all due respect to his talent, I don’t need a rematch with him, but I am the champion and if I get a fight with him, it will happen,” Keita said in a recent interview with Ruik.
