At the end of May there is to be a boxing match between Karlos Vémola and Otakar Petřina alias Marpe. However, the rapper is now coming forward with information that the famous MMA fighter is trying to get out of the fight. What did he say?
24. may, that’s the date when Karlos Vemola and Otakar Petrina, aka Marpo, were supposed to fight. the fight was supposed to happen last November, but the tournament was postponed due to an injury to the Terminator.
The injury is supposed to be going well, but Marpo claims that the famous MMA fighter is trying to talk his way out of the fight and doesn’t want to fight him anymore.
“I would like to comment on one thing. There are rumors around Prague that Karlos doesn’t want to fight me, that he doesn’t want to take our fight after all. So I would just like to say that you already fucked up once.
I’ve been preparing for two years, waiting for you to get better. I know you’re healthy, I know you’ve been training. So be a little man and accept the fight!” marpo said on his Instagram.
It’s questionable whether these speculations are true, however, if Vemola gets healthy, he has a huge amount of work ahead of him.
He plans to face Samuel Kristofich first, which he has already promised to do. However, if he doesn’t win the fight with Patrik Kinclo, it will mean one more fight for Vemola as he definitely wants his title back.
There are already three possible fights here, plus the rematch with Attila Vegh is still up in the air, which has almost been agreed. But after such an injury, Vémola can’t fight as often as he used to.
So it wouldn’t be surprising if he would rather miss the actual boxing match with Marpo. He has to think especially about his health.
