With Vemola, it’s a personal matter. With me it would be too difficult, says Ragozin
Mikhail Ragozin hasn’t fought in the Czech Republic yet, but he is quite well known here. And that’s because of the fight with Karlos Vemola, which was supposed to take place in the past, but the Czech withdrew due to injury. There has been talk in recent months of a possible fight between the two.

And that’s because of the fight with Karlos Vemola, which was supposed to take place in the past, but the Czech withdrew due to injury. There has been talk in recent months of a possible fight between the two, but it doesn’t seem to be happening. What does Ragozin have to say about Vemola?
A fight between Karlos Vemola and Mikhail Ragozin has been discussed for the last few months. This is due to the fact that they were supposed to fight in the past, but Vemola cancelled the fight due to injury.
The organizations have been in talks, but still nothing has been agreed upon. Still, Ragozin’s Octagon start is on the agenda, as he confirmed in an interview with MMA Shorties.
“Nothing concrete has come in yet, but I’m ready and in shape to step in at middleweight by the end of the year if the promoters are interested. Or next year at welterweight.
He will now be featuring my sparring partner Artur Karaveav in OKTAGON, so I hope that he will do well and be interested in continuing this cooperation in the future,” he said.
He also commented on Vémol himself, who has been getting weaker opponents since his loss to Attila Vegh, and even with that he is still only winning.
“I make no secret of the fact that with Karlos it’s a personal matter for me. He said he was going to beat me up and then broke down before the fight. When I challenged him, he didn’t even react much as he knows it would be too tough with me and not any easy money,” he added.
