Will we see a Peňáz vs. Čepo fight? The Czech fighter’s team has not yet responded to the challenge

After his defeat in Contender, Matěj Peňáz returns to the Octagon, where he has a fight scheduled for early December. But who will be his opponent? It’s not sure yet, but there is one interesting candidate.
Matej Peñaz scored the first defeat of his career when he fought for a contract in the famous UFC as part of Contender. However, Sedriques Dumas was more than he could handle, and so the Czech is heading back to the Octagon.
Here he has already scheduled his next fight, he will be appearing at the December Oktagon 37 tournament in Ostrava. Fans will see two title fights there. David Kozma and Kaiko Brito will fight for the first one, Jakub Tichota and Mat Sanikidz will fight for the second one.
Peñáz has not yet announced his opponent. Thus, Vlasto Čepo, with whom he had already fought in the past, has claimed the title.
“Hello underdog and outsider in one. As you can see, I’m in a good mood, I did everything I could. Ondra Novotny, I’m ready. At least let’s see who’s avoiding it. Without any trashtalk and stupid talk, it could have been closed so people know who’s better.
But then there’s no need to say everyone’s avoiding it. I can’t wait a year to fight him, after all, I live on it and I have bills to pay. PS. Some people pretend they can’t see or hear. PPS. Finally we can see a pub brawler against the best stand-up fighter on the domestic scene,” he said via his Instagram.
But the latest information suggests that this duel will not happen in December. At least if there is no interest from Peñaz, whose team has not yet responded to the call.
