Will Vémola have the promised heavyweight fight? Rather not! After Pütz’s win over Petrasek, there is talk of an interesting fight
Karlos Vémola has a title fight with Patrik Kinclo for the middleweight championship belt. Of course, there’s also the future to think about, which Terminator often talks about too soon without confirmation from the organization. What about his promised heavyweight fight?
Karlos Vémola has a title fight with Patrik Kinclo for the middleweight championship belt. Of course, there’s also the future to think about, which Terminator often talks about too soon without confirmation from the organization. What about his promised heavyweight fight?
As it is already known, Karlos Vemola’s next fight will be a title fight, the middleweight champion belt the Octagon organization will want to take from Patrik Kinclova, whom he has already managed to defeat in the past.
However, Vémola is also thinking about the future and it is expected that next year he will finally see a rematch with Attila Vegh. But even before this as yet unannounced fight, he will have others.
According to him, Ondrej Novotny has promised him a heavyweight fight if he wins against Kinclo. But how realistic is that? Now it is clear that he could defend the welterweight belt with Stephan Pütz.
“Karlos often puts me in a difficult position. If I have ever promised him anything, it should remain purely between us. Karlos very often says something, but he doesn’t give me the space to do the job of a promoter,” responded promoter Ondrej Novotny at the Oktagon press conference.
“A fight between Karlos and Stephan Pütz is definitely in the cards, but we still have to think about it thoroughly. In addition, Karlos has a very difficult fight against Patrik Kinkl. So we’ll see how it develops,” he added.
Now it is the match with Pütz that seems more likely, which could take place in Munich, where a tournament is scheduled for the spring. So the heavyweight bout is more likely to be moved indefinitely.
