Will the Pirate go out into the world? He’s been approached by Bellator, but so far he’s turned it down. A move to the RFA is out of the question
Samuel Krištofič spent his entire professional career on Czechoslovak soil. However, at the age of 31, he would like to have a taste of foreign countries. He has already received one offer, but he had a few reasons to refuse it. He also expressed his opinion about a possible move to a rival RFA.
Samuel Krištofič spent his entire professional career on Czechoslovak soil. However, at the age of 31, he would like to have a taste of foreign countries. He has already received one offer, but he had a few reasons to refuse it. He also expressed his thoughts on a possible move to a rival RFA.
At the end of this year, Samuel Kristofich will face the toughest match of his career. While he won’t be fighting Karlos Vemola, Patrik Kincl is at least an equal replacement.
Should the Pirate manage to win and take the title, this could be his last fight on the Czechoslovakian scene for some time. He is starting to attract interest abroad. Moreover, as he admitted in a live broadcast on YouTube, he himself would be tempted.
“I always have a taste for something worldly. Now I was recently approached by Bellator to see if I would fly to Dublin on November 5 as an understudy for a tournament. I have to say I was very tempted. But the offer came just 10 days before the fight, which was a big risk,” Pirat let it be known.
Besides that, the 31-year-old Slovak fighter had one more thing to deal with. He would have to settle his fight in Bellator with Octagon, where he is still under contract for three more fights. Releasing him this early before a title fight would be very risky.
“But it’s great that Bellator reached out to me. Going global would definitely be tempting,” Kristofich is clear.
Meanwhile, a possible offer from the new Slovakian organization Real Fight Arena (RFA) could also be in play. But that leaves the Pirate cold. “I just hope that RFA will deliver on what they promise and that they are not crooks and won’t leave the audience on plums like XFN,” Krištofič concluded his statement.
