If anyone from the domestic scene outside of Attila Vegh was able to trouble Karlos Vemola, it was Patrik Kincl in 2018. The fight had to be refereed by the scoring judges and was most likely affected by a poke in the eye. The Terminator also unintentionally admitted that his opponent managed to “shit on him”.
There was a lot of talk about a possible rematch, and Kincl also fought for it with Petr Ondrus. He won, but he didn’t get a second match. He even offered to go to the Oktagon for a title fight last December. That didn’t work out either.
But now it might. Kincl may have lost his last fight to Robert Soldic, but the Croatian has tremendous potential and it’s only a matter of time before he becomes a UFC star. He is already one of the best fighters of his weight class not only in Europe.
Furthermore, Vemola criticized Kinc, saying that he didn’t put his heart into the fight. The native of Hradec Kralove let it be heard in his podcast Fight & Talk that he will gladly show his heart in their rematch.
“When someone keeps shouting about a rematch (with Attila Vegh), they should sweep their own doorstep first and have a completely different rematch, right Karl?” kincl told Vémol.
“Now my contract is over, so I’m free. I want to invite Ondra Novotny for coffee and I’d certainly like to discuss it with him there, even though I’ve already given up on the fight seeing where Vémol’s career is heading. It’s amarketing ploy,” added the East Bohemian patriot.
Kincl also recalled how long Viktor Peshta, for example, was interested in the fight with Vemola before he finally gave it up and focused on other tough opponents. However, he himself is ready for the fight with Vémola and he will be ready for it.
However, KSW continues to be interested in Kinc, with a rematch with the aforementioned Soldic also in the cards. The Polish organization is aware of the Czech fighter’s qualities and does not want to give him up.
