Will he be the next challenger to Kinceloe? Brawler Bryczek wants to end the champion after another knockout: The fight with Vemola was boring, not special

OKTAGON 43 delivered an interesting spectacle and pushed the middleweight division in an interesting direction. Patrik Kincl was able to defend his title and the replacement for the title fight Robert Bryczek scored another knockout. The Pole is understandably asking for a fight with the Inspector.

Prague’s O2 arena hosted the biggest tournament in the history of Oktagon on Saturday. Two big fights took place in the middleweight division. The main event featured Patrik Kincl and Karlos Vémola in a rematch that had been five years in the waiting.

The Terminator was a slight favorite, but the match was dominated by the Inspector. The five-round battle had more or less the same scenario in all rounds. Vemola wanted to push Kincl through the mesh with a takedown attempt, but Kincl showed excellent defense and also toughness.

While the Olomouc native didn’t have a chance to be significantly active at the mesh in any way and had control at most, the East Bohemian fighter kept landing hard shots even under pressure and noticeably made his mark on Vémola’s face.

The Inspector escaped uninjured and was fine after the fight, but the Terminator had to go to the hospital for an examination.

Before that, however, the title replacement Robert Bryczek and “English Vemola” Lee Chadwick fought. The Polish fighter is in fine form, he’s thriving and he proved it now, scoring his third clean KO in a row and his fourth consecutive KO/TKO win.

After his win, he naturally asked for a title shot. At the press conference, he gave another brief assessment of the champion’s fight with Vemola.

“It was a pretty boring fight. It looked more like a training session in the gym than a real fight. I hoped I could challenge Patrik, but he challenged Attila Vegh, who is more interested in marketing duels,” Bryczek let himself be heard.

And what is the recipe for Kinc? “He’s a good fighter, but my plan would be to knock him out. He doesn’t have any special and outstanding attitude,” added the Polish puncher.
