Why won’t there be a rematch between Hosk and Naruszcka? The reason is the money Oktagon doesn’t want to spend
Marcin Naruszczka had his fourth fight in the Octagon, but after a win over Spicely and a loss to Pirate came another defeat, against David Hošek. The latter was very controversial and the Pole is still waiting for a rematch, which he confirmed after his win over Bel. What did Hosek say to the challenge and why there will be no rematch yet?

David Hoszek’s fight with Marcin Naruszczka is one of the most controversial in the Octagon organization. Why? The reason is simple.
The Pole went down in the fight, but was still conscious. However, referee Michal Popelák saw it differently at the time and tried to protect Naruszczka’s health, so he stopped the fight.
However, it was a premature decision and the Polish team immediately lodged a protest. Hoszek then promised Naruszek a rematch at a press conference. But he is not going to do it now. What is the reason?
“Marcin, I said how much money I wanted for a rematch with you and Octagon didn’t give me the money. And I’m not going to fight for such a small amount as I fought last time. I’m working out the terms of the contract with the organization. If we don’t agree on terms, a rematch won’t be possible,” Hosek told MMA Shorties.
So the Pole came up with an answer. “I’ve never lost by KO and it didn’t happen then either. The judges didn’t even respond to my team’s protest. The behavior of Hosek’s team shows not only cowardice, but also a lack of respect.
David, if you do this, you will only be seen as an opportunist who jumped up because of luck and not a fair fight. You and your team are a bunch of cowards who don’t want to win fairly. I’ll get my own revenge or life will do it for me. Get your shit together and prove you’re a man. Fight me! If you don’t, you’ll lose respect forever,” Naruszczka said on his Instagram.
It’s to be expected that the Octagon will want a fight like this in the event of more shootings, because that’s what entices people to buy tickets or PPVs afterwards. It won’t be anytime soon, though.
