Octagon MMA has had one of the biggest tournaments in history and already there is talk about who the champion and loser will face next. For Patrik Kinclo, the winner of the fight between Vlasto Chepe and Matej Peñaz is looming. And what about the other options?

Patrik Kincl defeated Karlos Vemola and instead of resting he moved to Canada where he is helping his friend David Dvorak prepare for his UFC fight.

Kincl himself admitted that he would like to show again in July at Stvanica, but due to his injured hand it is likely that he will miss this date.

After that, however, he’ll be out of sharp training and it’s questionable whether he’ll want to show up later this year. Either way, there is speculation about who he will actually face next.

There are several options, the most likely being Robert Bryczek, who took on Lee Chadwick at the O2 Arena. However, he too will probably go one fight before Kinclo.

“There is of course Vlasto Čepo and Matej Peñaz, but they are going together. I don’t know if they would say yes to a fight with Patrik now. Vlasto, after a possible win over Matej, probably yes. I don’t know if Matej would beat Vlasto though, because he’s very cautious.

We’ve got Pirate coming back to middleweight. He’s theoretically one fight away from a title shot. If Patrik didn’t want to go long and Pirate went with Bryczek and won, he’s back. There’s variations.

Plus I’ve got a beautiful butcher to sign. Dude’s unreal and interesting. Looks like I’m pre-signed, but until the signing is done, you never know,” said Ondrej Novotny on MMA Flight Around the World.

So let’s be surprised how the situation turns out. Either way, there’s no doubt we’re in for some interesting fights in the middleweight division that will keep the fans entertained.
