What were Kinclo’s weapons that Vémola feared in their first fight? And does that fear still persist today?

Karlos Vémola, after winning the Octagon welterweight title in Prague’s Štvanice, hinted at his future plans. One of the most anticipated fights is his rematch with Patrik Kinclo, who holds the organization’s middleweight belt. What does he think about the development of his potential opponent?

Karlos Vémola is fighting at an incredible pace this year

Karlos Vémola is certainly not bored this year after his injury woes last year. After managing to win two MMA fights and one boxing match in two months, he is already looking for more challenges.

After his last fight at Prague’s Štvanice, he revealed that he is eager to take part in October’s Oktagon, where the biggest domestic organization is heading to Germany again. At the end of the year he would like to return to the middleweight division where he wants to take the middleweight championship belt, which he says still belongs to him.

That title will be defended in September by Czech wrestler Patrik Kincl, who often publicly teases the Czech Terminator. Their feud dates back to 2018, when Vémola defeated his opponent in a three-round battle on points back in the XFN organization.

At the end of the year, Terminator wants to take the Octagon middleweight belt from Patrik Kinclova

Their rematch is anticipated not only by the fans, but also by the promoters of Oktagon, who are in favor of their clash. Karlos Vémola has successfully accomplished his mission and defeated all the opponents that Oktagon has thrown at him.

The same task now awaits Patrik Kinclo. He will now defend his belt won in the battle with Pirat Kristofich against his unpleasant opponent Lohore at the next Oktagon 35 gala held in Brno.

If he makes it through his next fight, nothing will stop the expected Vémola vs. Kincl rematch. Both opponents know each other very well, what does the self-appointed king of Oktagon have to say about the development of his opponent?

What did Vémola fear most about Kincl and how does he see his skills today?

“He hasn’t improved much since then,” said Vémola in an interview with iSport.cz. “He has lost his biggest weapon, which I was always afraid of,” he surprised.

“When he fought in that 77, he was great from the beginning to the end,” he complimented his opponent. “He had a great physical condition, but he lost it in 84, for example with Pirate it was terrible,” he recalled Oktagon 31 in February this year, where Kincl pulled the short end in the fifth round.

“So the biggest weapon I was afraid of, he lost at the cost of trying to gain weight naturally, as he claims, and thus losing his physique,” Vémola quipped, suggesting that Kincl is not completely clean in his preparation.

“He has two options, either to come into the fight like he did with the Pirate and die after two rounds or to drop to his good physical condition, but then he will be too weak again,” Vémola believes in measuring each other’s strength.

“He can’t win this fight, I’m sure of it,” he sums up confidently. “It will be easy money and it will come in handy around Christmas,” he added.
