What happens if Vémola has to retire? I have some ideas, says Novotný
Karlos Vemola’s injury is more serious than it looked. The Terminator has to rest for the time being in order to have a chance to return to the world of combat sports. But if a black scenario and the end of his career occurs, Ondrej Novotny already knows how he would incorporate him into the organization.

Karlos Vémola is not having the best time of his career. The thirty-six-year-old MMA fighter had to undergo a planned surgery and then got injured, so his fights have been pushed back.
However, his injury is not getting any better, so Patrik Kincl will step in instead for his title fight with Samuel Kristofich.
But what will happen if Vémola is no longer able to fight and is forced to retire? Oktagon promoter Ondřej Novotný talked about this in an interview with Kaocko.
“We have already discussed it, I have even given him specific options where I see him if he can’t fight, but I understand that it is not a strong topic for him right now. He’s not going to be a trainer, he hates that, but I think I have some ideas to make it interesting for him.
The octagon.tv project is growing all the time. When we have our own TV studios, shows, he’s a TV guy. The other thing is I’d love to be able to lean on someone within fighters management who enjoys matchmaking.
If we grow, he can be a good ambassador to foreign countries. He speaks fantastic English, we have meetings there now, these are possibilities for the future,” he said.
After his career, Vémola will certainly not be bored. But let’s hope that these words are still premature and we will see him beat his rivals again next year.
