Video: Patrick Vieira kicks a provocative Everton fan!
That was pretty wild. Everton needed to beat Crystal Palace to be sure of Premier League salvation, and they did. The fans enthusiastically stormed the pitch, where they decided to heckle the visitors’ coach Patrick Vieira. And it was not a good decision.
That was pretty wild. Everton needed to beat Crystal Palace to be sure of Premier League salvation, and they did. The fans enthusiastically stormed the pitch, where they decided to heckle the visitors’ coach Patrick Vieira. And it was not a good decision.
Meanwhile, the game didn’t start well for Everton. Already playing for nothing, the Crystal Palace Eagles nursed a 2-0 half-time lead after goals from Mateta and Ayew.
But the “Csaplar trap” worked again and Everton recovered in the second half. In the 54th minute Keane gave hope, in the 75th minute Richarlison equalised at 2:2 and in the 85th minute Calvert-Lewin turned the game around. Goodison Park erupted into a frenzy of excitement.
So much so, in fact, that the fans stormed the pitch. Frank Lampard’s team finally saved the Premier League with this victory.
But not all fans ran onto the pitch in euphoria to celebrate the club’s success. Some wanted their moment of glory, so they decided to heckle the visiting coach and legendary Arsenal midfielder, Patrick Vieira.
The youngster kept shoving the Frenchman from behind, preparing his fists for a duel. By then, however, Vieira was already bursting with soot, first swinging at the troublemaker and then kicking him. He subsequently began shoving several other fans as well.
Below you can even see a video directly from the perspective of the kicked fan, who continuously abused Vieira until the former defensive midfielder couldn’t hold back.
