Matúš Juráček challenged Alex Lohoré and although the more experienced Lohoré was the favourite, it was expected to be an evenly matched contest. However, Yuracek notched his first loss in the organization when Lohoré finished him hard.

One of the most anticipated fights of the OKTAGON 38 tournament did not disappoint. On the contrary. It was perhaps even better than expected. Although Matúš Juráček once again lived up to his style and backed off a lot, Alex Lohoré didn’t give him much room to escape.

However, while Juracek was scoring great fights from his retreat and was able to hit Lohoré hard, Lohoré was constantly chasing the Czech fighter, pushing him, trying to kick his legs to slow his movement, and this recipe was working.

However, he was also doing a lot of work with his hands. He managed to send Juráček to the ground once in the match and it was clear that the Prague Slavia fan was starting to feel respect from his opponent, who was getting tougher and more uncompromising.

Then in the third round Lohoré hit his opponent with an incredible shot and Juráček went down. There he was clearly out of it and the native of France had no problem finishing the fight.

“I feel great. I want to especially thank all the people who came out here. At the end of the second round, my coaches told me that I had to give it my all and try to finish Yuracek. Idid that,” said the winner of the beautiful fight.

Thus, promoter Ondrej Novotny came to the cage and announced to the seasoned fighter that he had won his place in the pyramid. He also added that he is the eleventh confirmed fighter in the entire project.
